Skydivers set a new World Record by BASE jumping from the world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa!
This is the moment a pair of daredevil skydivers set a new base jump world record by leaping 2,717 feet off the tallest building in the world. Organised by Skydive Dubai, a leader in extreme skydiving, veteran French jumpers Fred Fugen and Vince Reffet leapt off 3 X 1 meter platform at the very top of the 828 meters tall building to earn their place in history on Monday, 21st April 2014.
The men are not the first to base jump from the top of the tower – which is roughly twice the height of New York’s Empire State Building – but they had a special platform built to add an extra 500 feet, enabling them to break the world record.
