Child sexual abuse is disturbingly common in India, but that most cases go unreported due to fear of social stigma and lack of an adequate mechanism to help children. But initiatives like CHILDLINE’s offer hope that help is at hand.

This animated video explains the story of a sensitive and happy 7 year old girl Komal. Her neighbor Mr. Bakshi sexually abuses her. Komal’s mother notice a change in her behaviour and then CHILDLINE volunteer is contacted. She clearly explains to children the concept of safe and unsafe touch, so that they can be better understand the similar situations and take help from trusted adults.
